Save for Gilbert!!!!

All I have to say is WOW, what happened to the dismantle of the Wizard's core players? Jamison and Bulter are now gone as well as Stevenson and Haywood. It might be true that the team grew apart through out the time when Gilbert was injured and this past couple of months with Gilbert's legal trouble.

Wizards GM Grunfeld had explained that as long as Gilbert wants to play basketball and he is under contract, Washington will be the place for him to play. We can all take a deep breath now since we know at least Gilbert will still have a home as long as he is up for it.

Let's hope that he will be back in time for training camp and the start of the season without having to serve time in jail.

Arenas spoke out

Today Gilbert Arenas said in a story that he wrote to The Washington Post that he will try to rebuild his relationship and trust with youth around the D.C. area.

Arenas admitted that he understands the importance of promoting non-violence to children around the world. Gilbert also said that guns are no joking matter and it is a serious problem.

Now Gilbert had spoke out, I am sure that everyone knows how bad he feels about this whole ordeal. Now the world knows that Gilbert really regret on what had happen and he is going to accept full responsibilities.

Gilbert also had donated money in the past for every point he scored to different school in the D.C. area. Remember the shoes "Score for Schools". They are pictured here on the right.
